That’s a really tough thing to go through…unfortunately, everyone has to deal with it at some point in their life.

It’s still fresh, so it’s going to hurt…a lot…but with the passing days, the pain does eventually numb. You’ll never forget her, and you’ll always miss her, but it will get easier to deal with.

Just get through one day at a time…this, too, will pass.

Well . . . I went through my cat dying. Not really the same thing as a dog, you get more attached to a dog. When my dog dies I will be broken. However, I will do what I did when my cat died. Hope this helps : I cried my eyes out. My mom let me stay home from school. She took me out to eat lunch at my favorite resturant. Went for a while with an empty feeling in my chest finding it hard to believe she wasn’t here anymore. Then, life goes on. I never thought of it possible, but I almost forgot it happened. Maybe if your parents let you, get a new dog. That’s what I did. Think of the good memories you had with her. Whatever you do, don’t try to stop crying because you feel ashamed. People say crying is useless . . . NOT TRUE! It will make you feel better. TRY TO GET A NEW ANIMAL AND LOVE IT WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART GOOD LUCK!

I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine losing my cat, he is my absolute best friend in the whole world.

You need to just cry and cry and cry and cry. for as long as it takes. it could even be a few months before you start to feel okay about it. you should bury your dog in a nice place. and go visit it as often as you need/want. when you feel ready, you could get another pet. but I suggest getting a kitten or a rabbit or something other than another dog.

So sorry, (HUG!)
