Unusual situation

Yesterday I was at borders the bookstore I was sitting when a woman asked me the time and then she want to invite me a coffee and she was with 2 girlfriends waiting for her this surprise me so I said I have to go and I didnt drink coffee with her and her friends what do you think about this what would you have done in a situation like this. Any answer is welcome thank you.

she may have been interested in getting to know you and since she was already with her friends didnt want to pass the opportunity up to meet you.

I think she was showing off to her friends. “Like I bet I can get this guy to go with me.”

You did the right thing. Why get involved in someone else’s head game.

if she was with her friends. she was probly messing around. I do that a lot.

if she was alone I might have done it to get to know her. But she was with her friends right? It was good of you to pass it up. That could’ve gotten akward. =]

I think that was strange of her. I would’ve told her “If you were alone I would. But since your friends are here maybe you need to spend time with them. Thanks for the offer.” That way it wouldn’t look so bad for you:)
