So far, there really isn't any evidence to suggest the existence of other universes. However, there are several theories about this, which so far we don't have the ability to test or verify. For example, one theory suggests that all possible outcomes actually do happen, they simply happen in different universes. A lot of this involves quantum mechanics, and the idea that at the most basic level, things in our universe are chaotic, unpredictable, and unexplainable unless you take into account the existence of other universes. I think this is one of those many things scientists will resolve once they come up with the Theory of Everything.
Considering a universe is restricted to "what we can see", I'd have to say that there is only one actual universe, but I'm not opposed to the idea of dimensions.
I think there are existing planets way out there with life. i mean, we cant be the only ones in this never ending expantion of universe
If the cosmos is infinite that it stands to reason that there would be infinitely many universes.
yes dimensions, that's another idea to suggest multiple universes, thanx.
ye i think that too, n i bet those aliens r sayin the same bout us!! XD
hmm, makes sense! thanx.
thanx, great answer!
