Who knows--is it true that if you sneeze with your eyes open, your eyeballs will pop out of your head?

=[ Noooo!!! I want to keep my eyeballs! LOL, a lot of people has said this, I want to know if it is really true.

lol i’ve never heard of that… but i’ve heard that it’s a FACT that no human is able to sneeze with their eyes open… which leaves your statement to be… well… impossible :P LOL so no worries… you’ll forever keep your eyeballs :)

bhahahahaha!!! you’re craking me up - don’t take it wrong… i just had a gloomy day - i’m sick! but nahhh… grrr… cant rmb the name of the vein… but if you’re going DEEP SERIOUS on this.. there’s a vein attached to the back of the eyeball which keeps in in the socket! :P

I haven’t been here long either, but I have read previous questions via the search box and learn a lot about FunAdvice! The reason it keeps going to status update is because either the question didn’t start with who, what, where, why, or how, and end in a ? mark. -OR- The question has already been asked by other users multiple times. Try using the search box for your question. If your question has not already been asked, then go ahead and ask it. Sometimes, you also have to make sure the question is not too long. I usually type only until I reach the end of the question box, and not start another line. After you put your main question and a ? mark, then you can go into detail about your question, only the words before the first ? mark will show up on the question page, the rest will be visible when a user clicks on your question. Hope this helps! =D

You think your eye lids keep your eyes inside? Have your eyeballs actually ever hit your eye lids while you sneezed hard enough to feel like they may pop out?

Haha, IDK I squeeze my eyes shut realllly tight, so I was guessing that’s what was keeping them in. LOL

If eye balls could actually pop out, it would mean that whatever was holding it in would break. I doubt a sneeze has the power to sever that hold. But next time you sneeze, pay attention.
