Can you give me anymore characteristics of sleep paralysis?

I read your advice about this condition. You said that it happens to you a lot. Can you give me anymore characteristics of sleep paralysis. I thought I was dreaming but then I thought I was awake and could not move. I felt really tingley (sp?)all over. I felt like I was scared to move and also felt I couldn’t. Thanks

This question looks like it’s for someone specific, next time try sending them funmail for a more personal answer. Hope my answer helps in the mean time :-)

Sleep paralysis happens to prevent yourself from harming yourself when you sleep. Basically it blocks your muscles so they don’t move involuntarily while you sleep. Normally, people don’t wake up during this state but it can happen. When it does it gives you the impression that you can not move and that you are awake even though you are still alseep. It can be scary the first time but it’s nothing to worry about!
