Answer #7

I can’t tell you anything about him that isn’t on the web. And I’d have to do research to gather an opinion about him.

If you want to know more about a special congressman, you could send an e-mail to their office and ask about their personal position about Guantanamo bay or about Arabs and Muslims in America, and everything… They will not probably answer in person. But you might get a reply with his official position, maybe from an intern. That way, you’re sure to get his position and not the press’ position about him. He will probably not be openly and directly racist, you’ll have to read and decide.

Answer #8

Yes I believe he’s a racist. He’s not too much on TV in my country, but I often read about him on US web sites and he’s a well known face with all his rambelings against Muslims on FaceBook. This one on the picture below is kind of priceless :D

Answer #9

hashtag #KingHearings is having a large number of activity about him. Many of them are comparing him to 50’s joseph mccarthy who is famous for mccarthysm

Answer #10

I live in Peter King’s district, although I never voted for him. I think he is probably a racist. I do know he is a media wh*re who will do anything to get his face on TV. His anti-Arab/Muslim stance is extremely radical, and he is engaging in McCarthy-like tactics, except now it is Muslims instead of communists. He claims he is trying to fight terr0rism, but if you look into King’s past, you would see he once was a supporter of a terr0rist organization. Back in the 80s he was even on a secret service watch list because of his support for the IRA. I guess according to King, who is a white Irish catholic, you can be excused for terr0rist acts when it is coming from other white Irish Catholics. But if you are brown and Muslim, you need to be persecuted, even if you have nothing to do with terr0rism. His is a bigot and the epitome of a hypocrite.
