Period &tampon(girls only)

Alright this is a little embarrasing to ask but anyways…

I got my period on june 5th and I’m going on vaction on june 24 to july 1st. Is it possible that my period could come twice a month since it will be over 26 days for my period when I’m on vaction.

Also, if I get my period over vaction and have to use a tampon( I’ve never gone in the pool with one but wore on onces for about 20 minutes :/ ) is the string supposed to all hang in your bathsuit bottom or should I insert it so you can barely see the string at all?

no, you need the string to pull the tampon out again so dont insert that too you need to leave it out but you dont have to have it out of your bathers just tuck the string into your bathers or you could also wear boardshorts to make it easier so you dont have to worry about the string

ok, ill answer your first question since no one seems to have. Yes you CAN get your period twice a month if its 28 days apart, BUT, if you want you can go to your gynocologist for advice on delaying your period for your vacation time

You could always try instead cups. They are somewhat similar to tampons. You use your hands to put the cup in, yes it is an actual cup, and it can stay in for 12 hours. No string, no chance of tss, and way more comfortable.

dont insert the string, then the tampon can get stuck…just leave it in your bathing suit bottoms…if you dont want it to bunch up then lay it straint across your bathing suit so it’s not noticeable… if you have a twenty eight day cycle you will get it two days after your vaction started… so bring pads and tampons just so you know you have back up if you become uncomfortable…but sopposibly when your in the water your bleeding stops on it’s own…so when I swim I dont wear anything, I just make sure I have a pad for once I get out I can go somewhere and put it on.
