but i make good grades in her class and barely talk.. so is it okk for her to call us idiots?
It depends how she says it. We had a teacher calling us illeterate fools in grade 7. lol. She is now my music teacher and I love her. The students were also crazy about her. She said it jokingly though. Also do remember that teachers are only human and they do also say things that they don't mean and can't apologize afterwords because that means showing weakness to children and children pounce on weakness.
If you guys know the the teacher is jocking, there is no reason to get ofended, but it is wrong for a teacher to do that in general. If you get good grades, and you know you are traying your best then you should really not be ofended, you need to know that he/she was talking to those who don't do their work, and always act up in class.
Its sort of rude to call the 8th grade class " idiots " but if she says shes joking that i dont think you students should take it all personal , some teachers have a lot of jokes towards students and dont mean for them to take it the wrong way.
sounds like she calls all the other classes idiots behind their backs..
