Is my navel piercing rejecting?

So I changed my navel ring for the first time and since then it seems like more of the barbell s showing (I had a circle ring in before). I also can feel the ring under my skin. does this mean recection or migration? please help I dont wanna take it out if im just wrong and the swellng is just going down.

same happenned to me. I’ve had it for 11 months now and not much skin is around the barbell like there was when I first got it done

probably. when I got my navel pierced the first time I changed it after a month out of excitement instead of waiting for six months. I began to notice a lot of scabs around it and it eventually literally grew out of my belly button. I was walking at school one day and I heard a ping on the ground and freaked out, it was a bad deal. id say go back to your piercer once a month for the next 4 months and have him check on it, or youll have to get it re-pierced and that is a lot more painful due to the scar tissue.
