My guitars making a weird sound

Alright, so I got a new guitar not too long ago, at the end of summer. And for some reason its making this weird tingy kind of noise. Its hard to describe. But its only does it after im done playing a note. Kind of like a feedback kind of noise, but only it isnt. I had a thought that it might be my amp or something, but it never did that with any of my other guitars. And it gets annoying when I just want to play an open note and stop playing for a sec then play again, because it makes that annoying sound. Does anybody know what it might be, or any way to fix it? I have an mh-50 ltd.

If you need a picture I’ll post one up.

Thanks

Answer #1

I’m putting my buck on a fret wire being too close to the underside of the string. It annoys me too.

Answer #2

alright, thanks. would it also make the noise if my pickups are farther away from the string? because I checked and noticed the top pickups screw was loose, and the bottom pickup was missing a screw. I tightened the loose one, but im trying to find a replacement screw for the bottom pickup, I have no clue how they could have fallen off without me noticing. hopefully I fix it though, and hopefully that will make it sound golden. thanks so much for brining it to my attention though

Answer #3

maybe just tighten the strings and make sure everything is tightened up

Answer #4

It sounds like you should check “underneath” your strings. You most likely have either a pickup or a fret wire too close to the under side of the string.
