Only one I ever truly fell in love with, and its my first year run 1987 Ibanez 540 Saber in Desert Yellow, made in Fujijen, Japan (sp?) factory. Purchased it the day it hit the market. Never had seen a thin fingerboard like the Wizard neck in my life. And the floating edge Floyd Rose trem, which had so much play, never got out of tune unless a string stretched. But it has the bridge fine tuners to fix that. It may not have the heart & soul of my Les Paul Studio, but those early Fujijen Ibanez’s just ruled the planet IMHO. Ever tried a Killer from Japan?
