I have grown up in a small town and just can't stand bigger cities at all. I spent a week in Denver, Co and almost went crazy from the number of people around.
My biggest complaint about small towns used to be finding things like electronics or a specific book. But with being able to order everything online its not much of an issue any more.
It depends, many from small town America tend to at times look down upon us City types. I've been in San Diego, LA and San Francisco and I'm used to a large city. Biggest issue for me is definitely the cost of living in a large city as opposed to a small one.
I don't think either is better. I don't mind either, I've grown up & lived in vegas all my life & thats a pretty big city & I don't mind it. But I always go to small almost unknown towns for vacation, & I love it. Their both great I guess.
It's a personal preference and it depends what you like. Personally, I'd love to live in a big city like New York.. One day. :D
