What is an Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) registration?

I dnt know what it actually means???

Answer #1

It’s like a database of people who work/want to work with vulnerable adults and children. Anybody wanting to work in this area had to register with the ISA, so that potential employers would find their vetting process easier. Basically it’s an approved person list, although it could be argued this is what the CRB check is for.

Answer #2

Sooo…erm i am filling a CRB application form for a childcare course soo would i have to mark yes or no for this question : “Are you applying for registration with ISA” ??

Answer #3

If you are applying for ISA registration, then mark Yes, as it seems you have to register.
