Because it is like free money given by the government and they need to give it out to people who are probably like literally poor or their situation meeets the governments welfare standards..like no place to live..But if you really need i guess you know you have to make your story sound more bad then it actually is because thats what somebody in my family needed to do in order to be helped..and i mean she was totally out on her luck..but it wasn't enough to them in order for her to get welfare..so i guess you just need to make stuff up.
Because of people who abuse the system. Welfare should be a last resort and only used when you have no other choice...it shouldt be something thats easy to get since its the government sending people money that they use for whatever reason. Yes, there are people who need it and use the money properly, but half the time the money is being misused and its almost a joke where im from.
Because it is a government aid intended to help those with little to no income, including the working poor. It is aimed primarily at families with children, older individuals, and those who are disabled. You need to meet qualifications such as the ones listed above (but not limited to) in order to qualify for welfare.
Because you can only get it, if you really need it. And if you really need it then you can have all that they require. Some people find that as a game and just a way to get extra stuff, when people outhere really need it.
My mom needed to get more food for me so she was qualifing for 2 weeks then they said they had to go to a meeting in bussines apearal!
Iv heared that they make u wear suits even tho u r trying to get money to accyually buy nicer clothes!! it makes no sense!
