I cant I try but I dont know, what do you do?
hard exercise to bring your blood sugar down, pitch black darkness, settle your mind
the last one can be easier said than done. one trick I use is a simple meditation. you count down from 10 in your head, "saying" the numbers silently in your head. the trick is to "say" the number, but visualize the digit that represents 10 minus the number. e.g. "say" 9 but visualize the digit 1 - what it looks like, "say" 8 but visualize 2, etc. start back from 0 and go the other way. that will settle my mind if I'm only a little worked up
if I seriously need to be strapped down - mind wont' stop racing - I take a 5mg melatonin and read in bed until I can't keep my eyes open, then turn off book light and saw logs
"Simulate darkness. If you can't block out every ray of light in the room, wear a blindfold that does it for you. The human body responds to darkness, even if it's artificial, often with weariness and sleep."
It's pitch black in my "sleeping area" non-stop, but it doesn't effect me if its dark or not and I want to sleep, it has to be dark or I cant sleep is all :P
Cutie, You may have extra energy...Try a workout program maybe 3 times a week...A good cardio workout...Try and stay away from pills etc... Not being able to sleep is not a problem..it is just your body trying to tell you something...Energy that should be released or other problems with relationships etc...that need addressed. or try reading?
reading, or just stop thinking about how you 'are not sleepy at all' the more you frustrate about not being able to sleep the more you will stay awake. Just go to bed, close your eyes, and sleep. Flip the switch :)
Start with one melatonin and one valerian root pill/capsule. Not habit forming, never any bad dreams. Wrks fine, Google it. It's 7:30 AM and I'm ready for that and a little Soy milk and I'm gone.Larry
Reading a couple of chapters from a book usually helps, you could try colouring before going to bed or taking sleeping pills or use that fragrance thing that makes you tired.
Sleeping pills? No more than two, but should do the trick.
Watch a movie that always makes you tired.
Warm milk (settles the stomach, makes you really comfy.)
I would eat a bowl of cereal before I went to bed it usually made it easier for me. if not you can read a book or sumthing make your eyes tired.

once I started to read like 3-8 mins and I felt asleep lol
