How can I get babysitting experience?
How can I get baby sitting experience. There are no neighbours around where I live who have small children and I only have one 14 year old brother and mum says that no one and she wont employ me to look after there kids since I have no experience and then there is the problem of transport, I am 16 so I have to wait until march to apply for my l’s, mum says I’m not allowed to drive dads or her car, so I would have to buy a v. V. Very extremely cheap car. So yeah. I am doing early childhood education at school but that is only till I get an hairdressing traineship, which is alright, but I’m kinda starting to like ece. :( so yah.
you might get a cheap add in the local paper, all you need is a couple of families to respond and you got a full time job on your hands, you wouldnt believe how many people rely on others to collect ther kids from school when ther working and its just a case of taking them home (thers or yours) feeding them and waiting till the parents finish work, goodluck.
That’s not true- People will still employ you if you don’t have experience, I mean you have to get it from somewhere. You could try asking family seeing if you could look after their kids for a little while for experience, if not you could look for ads in the newspaper or even put up posters advertising yourself as a babysitter if anyone is looking.
