anxiety is something a doctor can pretty much figure out within the first 5 misn of you explaining your side affects. I have anxiety as well and agoraphobia(phobia of leaving my house) some doctors can prescribe medicine for it; but like for me in PA you have to be over 18 for a regular doctor to prescribe you medicine and I’m not so I had to go to see a psychiatrist to get medicine and the medicine he prescribed me made me so dizzy I had to stop taking them and I now have to take cousiling and stuff so.. if I were you and you think you have anxiety get an appointment right away with your doctor before it keeps gettign worse. & my cousnling only cost $34.25 a session not $100 but I guess it depends on where you live.

After that, should a consultative examination be necessary, Philip G. Levendusky, Ph.D., Director, Psychology Department and Psychology Training, McLean Hospital had this to say about it:

“It’s typically diagnosed with interview. The clinician will ask questions of the client and try to identify those characteristics that might be consistent with a anxiety disorder. Sometimes the interview is supplemented with testing questionnaires that are designed to both identify the presence of an anxiety disorder as well as the severity of the anxiety disorder. “

Treatment for such can often include repeat visits. Quite often the cost of the visits can be between $100.00 to $200.00 per visit.
