What happened on Good Friday
Anny, it's well established that the different Gospels were written at different times, and don't agree, so let's leave that.
The point is that Good Friday is CELEBRATED nowayd as as the day on which Jesus was crucified.
The name varies from language to language - in many Germanic/Scandinavian languages it is known as Long Friday, whereas in Greek it's Great Friday. And in the Greek/Russian Orthodox calendar it won't be celebrated till next Friday - today is Palm Sunday here on Cyprus.
And when Easter Sunday comes, throughout the Orthodox world worshippers greet each other with 'Christus anesti' (Christ is risen!) to which the reply is 'Alithos anesti' (Indeed, he is truly risen)
You have repeatedly stated: "...HE IS RISEN !!..."
Assuming that you are referring to Jesus, does it not bother you that the oldest known text that contains a Gospel (Marcus, app. 2AD), fails to mention the resurrection?
Would one not be inclined to be somewhat critical about extravagant claims such like the survival of a person's own death? Especially since the evidence suggests the contrary?!
that is the day the officers arrested jesus and took him to the cross and he died for all the people in the world even you to save you so you could live
read the bible it is the best book you will ever read
I had to work it was crap, but I got double time so it was ok and I had nothing better to do except go clubbing and waste my money so I saved and earned all in one!!! More money for next weekend lol
The Friday before Easter, observed by Christians in commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus - HE IS RISEN !!
