How can I fix the malfunctioning keys on my keyboard?
I have a macbook, and while cleaning it I accidently must have gotten some cleaning solution down the keys. The capslock is backwards and when typing some letters they type other letters at the same time and it’s really annoying. Some of my punctuation keys are also messed up.
Would I take it to a mac shop? Or what else could I do?
you can pop the keys off, get the dirt or solution out and put them back on if its a regular keyboard. if not then.you might want to take it somewhere and get it fixed. i hope this helps!
what i do is lift up my keys slightly and blow directly under them to clear away any dirt. but if that doesnt work then do what kayla suggested. hope this helped :)
im guessing the cleaning solution gets sticky when dry.
ive never been in this situation myself but i would take the whole thing apart to get under the keys and give it a good wipe with a sponge and water.
dont you do that though.
if you can take each key up separately do it that way if not im sure as its apple cough, bless me there must be a way of unscrewing that part just to remove the keyboard.
