Did you have any doubt that Dr. Conrad Murray would be found guilty for Michael Jackson's death?

Answer #1

I thought he is already found guilty. And no I think he deserved it. He is the doctor and he should have stopped over doing the prescriptions for money. I cannot go to my doc and get whatever prescriptions i want just cuz i got money. He would tell me no way. Yes Michael is a grown man and should have realized when enough was enough. But he took the docs advice. and instead of healing him he fed him pill after pill. an addict will take it. Its the doctors resposibility to deny a patient their “fix”

Answer #2

I was sure he would have to assume responsibility, but would not have been surprised if he got off.

Answer #3

“I thought he is already found guilty” - yes, hence the “DID you” :)

Answer #4

lol i caught that after i posted. thanks lol

Answer #5

I think he is still gettin of light. 4 years will turn to 1 year. He may not have perposly killed him but he did and as a perfesional doctor he should have been more aware of Michaels health

Answer #6

professional

Answer #7

He’s certainly guilty of something. Doctors are allowed to prescribe medications off label or for purposes other than what they are approved for. In fact I take a medication off-label. Someone can literally die from lack of sleep so I could see doctors ready to try anything to help their client rest. Dr. Murray should have had a nurse anesthetist so Michael could be constantly monitored (Michael reportedly arrested while Dr. Murray was in the bathroom) and he should have had monitoring equipment and a crash cart. In most operations general anesthesia is the more dangerous than the surgery itself.

Answer #8

I think it’s right that he’ll go to prison for that. He knew what he was doing - he studied medicine after all - and he knew that it was wrong. He surely did not intend to do anything that would harm Mr. Jackson, but he must have been aware that he is putting his patients life at risk with that “treatment”. He did not kill anyone on purpose. But he still killed someone. I don’t know whether it’s been the profit. By what I observe, Dr. Murray is a rather weak personality who would give in to his patients will against his own better judgment. But such a person should not be a doctor. It would have been the doctors duty and responsibility to get Mr. Jackson away from that addiction. Well, of course, Mr. Jackson could just have fired Dr. Murray and found some other doctor who would go on prescribing propofol. But the info that gets through is that Murray never even tried to make Jackson aware that this is an addiction that it needs treatment.

Answer #9

Hmmm well I have no clue of the doctor’s intentions or anything but yeah i think he didnt show much of sympathy to M.J’s death. So its a yes and no for me.

Answer #10

His high profile profession has come to an end and he has a sentence to serve. Like Onemandog said, it’s more a suprise he didn’t get off. However, I think the sentence was just in that his prestigious career is over and he will do time as well.

Answer #11

Although I agree if Dr Conrad Murray didn’t go along with MJ, Michael would have found someone else that would….Hence they would be the ones in the courtroom. He gambled in his decision to go along with Michael and the results are the stakes he now has to pay. A price I don’t think he forsaw happening…but it did.

Answer #12

lol no doubt at all. doctors can be evil when exposed to money.

Answer #13

I do not think he actually murdered Michael Jackson, he was more interested in his $150, 000 a month salary he was getting from MJ. Dr. Conrad Murray as a doctor should have placed medical warning and his patients’s health and well being first and not give in to MJ request for more pain killers… So to answer your question, I thought he was guilty of being neglectful as a doctor when poor MJ died.
