Do I have to repeat it?

I have a 69% in language arts and in my county a 70% is just passing. The end of the semester is in one month. So if I leave this semester with a 69% but I get lets say an 80% next semester would I still have to repeat this semester? Also my mom will not pay for summer school. Would I have to repeat ninth grade? :( please help :(

im really not sure what your schools like but usually its the semester or yearly average that dictate weather or not you need to repeat the course. My friend got a 51 in math one term but she could move on because her yearly average ended up being a 73. So dont freak out, im sure you will be fine. If you are nervous I reccommend talking to a teacher or guidance counselor about your grade and the requirments. good luck

it does depend on how homework and THE BIG TEST (if any) are graded. You have a month so buckle down and get good grades. For me it’s usually play around until the last mouth and I’ve been on the honor roll each year so it is possible. That is not good school practice so don’t always do it like this. For us exams are 20% of our grade homework 50% so do your home work and get a good grade on the BIG test and you’ll be fine. All schools that have the BIG TEST use it as a big part of the grading scale. Your going to need to start studying more and cover past concepts so get started. Good luck.

If you only not flunked 1 semester and the other one’s you didnt then I think that you will pass but I dont know meaby it isnt just check out the website and everything so you can see because I don know your school rules
