Why do I feel cheated that I have to repeat this class?

did you cheat? or did you just literally fail the class because of “poor” work? and um, if you failed by not earning the grade, there is no grade giving in college (which im assuming you are in) teachers do not give out grades. earn it. you may have put the work into the class but it seems when it came to the final product it wasn’t there, realize your mistakes. and also it is stupid if teacher gave out grades for people who put more time into their class. i have actually had a conversation with my one professor, and she said it the best, she would not give anyone a grade to let them pass because if you are in college, employers want the best of the best coming out of college, so faking a grade is not good.

I think it might not be your lack of effort buy your writing as a whole, see writing is a very judgmental course some teachers may hate how you write some teachers may love it. Just put in effort go to the teacher ask for help and tell show them that you are taking initiative. I really hope you pass this time. Good luck buddy =)

Well you might have done a all that stuff, but you might have gotten a bad grade in those pappers and if you failed it is not the teachers fault, it is something you did wrong, or meaby the lack of effort that you gave. You can go to that teacher and ask him/her why you got that F, and she can check and tell you if it was the scores on the assigments or the test score on the final. If you got a low grade on the final, but had good grades on all of your assigments, you will still fail. It does not matter. Other than that, there is not much you can do, just talk to the teacher, figure out why you got this grade and try to improve it this time, and give 100% effort.

As crummy as it may be, you got the grade that you earned. Teachers can’t go giving people a passing grade when the work submitted to them does not warrant it. I can understand that it feels awful failing the class after all of the hard work you put in, but you will benefit more from doing and understanding the work properly. At the end of the day it is the teacher’s duty to help you learn. If you’re getting an F, this means that you have not learned the content properly.

I know it’s not fun, but you just have to keep trying. If you don’t understand the work, ask for help. If you still have trouble, see if you can get a tutor. There’s absolutely no shame in asking for some assistance.

So let me get this straight. You think you should automatically pass because you did the work? What about everyone who did the work but actually did it well? Aren’t they cheated out of their grade because you obviously did not produce at the same level? Also lets pretend this is the real world. If you produce substandard work, they fire you. Whining about how you did the work is not going to keep your job. They pay you based on the outcome. That’s the real world. That’s why it doesn’t really matter whether you spent 2 hours or 50 hours writing a paper. It matters how good the paper is at the end of the day. And lets admit, your grammar is poor and you have trouble conveying meaning in most of your very short questions, so I can only imagine your essays. Most schools have writing centers where people can turn in their essays. Try that.
