What are the differences and similarities of the attack of 911 and the attack of pearl harbor?

Answer #1

Loss of live was high in both, one was a military attack on the US Navy the other was a t3rror attack on civilians. During 9/11 the leaser of the building made a ton of money, also during 9/11 their are still a lot of question on what happen, and who actually caused the attack.

Answer #2

All I can say is I think they were both surprise attacks

Answer #3

Both attacks were carried out in response to U.S. policies. For the Japanese Empire, it was a response to increased economic pressure from the U.S., specifically the embargo on oil which was constraining Japan’s supplies. The 9/11 attacks are considered to be a response to American policies toward the Islamic world, specifically the country’s support of Israel and (then) stationing of military forces in Saudi Arabia. Pearl Harbor was largely focused on eliminating a major military target, while 9/11 was an attack aimed at civilians. Pearl Harbor was carried out by the national government and military forces of a nation-state, while 9/11 was the work of an independent organisation. As Chris suggests, there are conspiracy theories surrounding the 9/11 attacks, and there are also conspiracy theories surrounding the attacks on Pearl Harbor.

Answer #4

there was less than like a 200 death difference between the two, 9/11 being the worst

Answer #5

9/11 was a soft target, where perl harbor was not, there was no way for anyone to defend themselves in 9/11
