Decorating a boy/girl room

My sons (17 months) room is divided, the top half is a sky blue and the bottom is white panel board. Now I have a baby girl (5 months) that I will be moving in with him. I dont want to repaint the top half so I need suggestions please. I want it to be both girly and boyish with a blue wall. Any suggestions???

Answer #1

you could paint clouds on the blue part and add glow in the dark stars. then pain the bottom green like grass. my brother made his kids room like a yard just like that he even added a wood fence on the wall around the room and it looked awesome. (my brother is an artist.)

Next time you’re in the store, go by the paint section and compare that blue with other colors using their color tabs - you can put them side by side and see what you like…Take care !!

Well, you could add furniture that are in baby pink in colour. I believe that it’ll be sweet to mix sky blue with baby pink. Cause sky blue is quite similar to baby blue. =]

You should paint it a Coffe Brown color with a pink wall on her side. ( still with the blue wall) My aunt did her Baby shower like this and she got many complaments! Hope you like it~
