Could cramps be a sign of a UTI? (read more)

I been having cramps lately, like not so intense but I can feel it, then it fades away, and this usually happens early in the morning right in my abdomen area. I get my cycle sometime this Sunday, but never had this feeling. Could this be a early sign of a UTI? Though I had a UTI before and never really had cramps before my period…though the first day was extreme pains and I couldn’t bare to walk around.

Answer #1

When I had my uti I had really intense kidney pain but that was in my lower back. Also the usually uti pain when i urinated. But other than that I never had cramps. Maybe you just had something bad to eat? Or it’s just an early sign of your period?

Answer #3

no cramps aren’t usually a sign of UTI

burning sensation when peeing, pain usually in the sides rather than in front, more of a sting than a cramp…

well it could be uterine contractions, they are very common and most women do not feel them but they happen all the time, from beginning to the end of your cycle. Usually the big cramps come right around the time of your period….
