what if i get a christian tattoo and then ask god for forgiveness isn't that kinda taking it to far?
I actually know a lot of Christians who have tattoos. I know a lot of people won't do it because of what is said in Leviticus, but God forbids the tattooing of the skin because the people were doing it as a part of Pagan rituals. I really don't see anything wrong with it, but a lot of biblical scholars disagree whether or not it's okay. Really, it's your choice.
If you are that worried about having a tattoo, I suggest you don't have one made. And I mean,,, if you believe in god, and you think it's wrong to have a tattoo, would you then sit there and have some dorky "christian" tattoo made, and run off to church right away and pray for forgiveness??? That's about as lame as it can be. I'm sorry, but really!
A lot of Christians think so because it is "harming the temple of God" or something.. if you feel you're sinning when you do it, don't do it lol..because you can't get rid of it and it's kinda pointless to plan or asking for forgiveness before you commit the crime..
I highly agree You are forgiven for your sins but I doubt you are if you know it's a sin Do you believe it's against the bible? If so, don't bother getting one If not, go for it.
