What is the cheapest guitar on the market with EMG active or passive pickups?

Answer #1

It really depends on what kind of guitar you’re looking for. What you have is a nice start but you’ll have options like string count, various components, the overall style of the instrument (strat or tele), etc.

In all reality, you can buy whatever kind of guitar you want and just switch out the pickups. A pair of pickups can run you anywhere from $80-300 depending on how fancy you want to get and what kind of requirements you’re looking for. That would, believe it or not, probably be the cheapest option for you.

Answer #2

I want a 6 string with no tremolo. Preferably EMG 81s but I will settle for passive ones. I already have a 7 string so I don’t need anymore strings lol. I would rather not have fender style instruments. I have a warlock and a les paul but they are about to die. I know jackson makes a dinky with EMG hzs. I don’t need a nice start. I need something that will sound good on stage.
