well went to doctor and it was a boil the size of a tennis ball under the skin drained over a pint of blood/pus when the doctor lanced it and it was big enough that it ripped a muscle in my arm recovery will take a while so let this be a lesson to people... go to the doctor for things like this.. before it gets out of hand like it did to me

Purple/red lump under armpit
so I woke up about 4-5 days ago to find a somewhat painful lump under my armpit I hadn't recently shaved or anything but I figured I'd follow instructions I'd seen online about it, today (day 5) I woke up to found that it grew about double the size from...
when it started ad it is now purple/red and has excrusiating pain around it but numb to the touch on it, it looks somewhat like a boil because I've had those elsewhere on my body but doesn't feel like it now, I can barely put down my arm now without writhing in pain from it any ideas on what it might be, I'm going to my local doctor today to see what it is either way but I'm just curious to see if anyone has any ideas.
