Not good - I'd see another doctor.

A google search brought this info for you:

It sounds as though you are suffering with hidradenitis suppurativa.
This is a condition in which there is a tendency to recurrent infections usually in the armpits and groin. The infections occur in the sweat glands and result in lumps which are collections of pus. Sometimes treatment with antibiotics will lead to resolution of these abscesses, but in many instances the abscesses need to be incised and the pus drained out.

When infections are recurrent in a particular area, surgery to remove various glands may be helpful, but this does often leave unsightly scars. Scarring may also result from the condition itself, even when surgery is not involved. It seems that people suffering with this condition have an abnormality in the structure and function of sweat glands.
One thing that should be considered when someone is getting recurrent infections is diabetes, as diabetes makes a person more prone to infection.

Treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa is difficult. Long term antibiotics are often needed, but once these are stopped recurrence of the problem usually occurs. Things that may be helpful are avoiding shaving as this tends to worsen the problem and rigorous attention to hygiene. The use of an antibiotic lotion in an alcohol base, for example, clindamycin may be helpful. This condition is relatively rare and little known. The reason why some people have this condition is unclear. It doesn't seem to be closely related to lifestyle.
Unfortunately there is no immediate sign of any new treatment that might change the lives of those who suffer with it.

Get tested for HIV also. This is one of the symptoms. A friend of mine was diagnosed about a year ago and he suffered from lumps in the same areas. Finally a resourceful doctor decided to test him and he was positive.

I don't want to frighten you, but check out all the possible options.
