What advice can you give about a painful lump in right armpit?

Hi, I have a small lump (about the size of a pea) under my right armpit for over 6months. I have since become aware of a lump also present in my right boob.
I first became aware that something was wrong when I started experiencing pain under my armpit. (like a very deep bruised pain) I am also having some discomfort and restricted movement in my right arm. It feels weak and painful. I have an appointment next week for tests but mean while I cannot help but worry myself stupid.
The pain or discomfort is not related to shaving or deodrants and there is no visable irritation or lump on the surface of skin. I had a hysterectomy 10yrs ago and have been on HRT for 11yrs. Any advice would be welcome

Dear snowwhite,
Very glad you will getting tests next week. Of course we wish you the best of luck here on FunAdvice. Well I'm afraid I'd be worried stupid as well and being a woman who has been through the testing I can say the only way to lessen the worry is try to occupy yourself doing something, anything to keep your mind off of it. Delve into a hobby, start reading the top rated novel, paint, draw and seek out friends from the Internet that will keep you gabbing all night long. I hope this week passes fast and your tests all show negative. You will be in our thoughts.

Dear snowwhite,
Very glad to hear everything is okay...now go see your doctor again. Ask him what he thinks the lump under your arm is. It could be a lymph glad swollen or scar tissue. But he will be able to clear this up. The lumps in the breast are probably fibroids and a lot of women have these...I sure do. They are harmless but always need to be monitored. So another visit is necessary to the doctor; he now has all the reports as well and can give you a much better educated guess.

Dear snowwhite,
Yes, seems you know that your personal health needs to come before your work commitments as you say. Get yourself back to the doctors ASAP. Suggest when you go to have a biopsy done. There are several choices as to what type and your doctor can go over each one with you. I had mine done and went to work right after.

Hi,
Finaly went to docs. She seems to think that it is, a lump on my rib. She said that with my being so slim that that could be the reason the lump could be felt?? What I failed to ask is why did it suddenly appear and why it is so uncomfortable etc. Knowing me I will probably leave things be for another 6months or more. Anyway the main thing is that it is nothing to worry about. Su :-)

might be a basil cell, get it checked out. (basil cell is early form of cancer, totally treatable)
