The Obama administration has petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to protect Saudi Arabia and four of its princes from being held accountable for their alleged role in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the United States that killed almost 3,000 Americans - Why would BHO do that ?

No we just had an eviel administration whose greed and bloodlust led to the biggest foreign policy disaster in US history, and caused the unnecessary death of hundreds of thousands of people. Most of the rest of the world understands now that the America under W is a far different one under Obama. Your constant lies and misrepresentation of Obama is not working. It must be really driving you guys nuts that none of the crap you keep making up is sticking, and that the man is actually liked by a large majority of the population.

Long answer -- the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act of 1976 provides legal protection to a country's ruling class from liability based on the acts of its citizens. The lawsuit, brought by the insurance companies of the victims' families, has already been struck down several times. The Justice Department issued its brief (not petition) outlining the executive branch's official position on the matter, a position also held, one might note, by the Bush administration.
America has a good relationship with Saudi Arabia and right now we are struggling with our relationships with the middle east. We need their oil and they have a lot of money and have loaned us a lot of money. Have they been convicted of anything? Has it been suspected by our intelligence? OR is this just speculation in your mind? Racism can be very blind. Although most of the men involved in 9/11 were saudi arabians they fled to go train with al-quada...and keep in mind that an American also did the same.
