Why would a female dog keep liking her private parts?

My female dog keeps liking her private parts every night before going to bed. I don’t know why she does this. I know she is not in heat. Could she have a UTI? Please help!! She does this for hours at a time?

my dog will go out and pee then came back in and lick his private parts too. call the vet and ask them though. she probably has dried pee stuck down there.

My female dog does the same thing. But I also have 2 male dogs, and she watches them. I think thats why she does ot.

Some dogs are very very clean…she’s bathing. I had a dog who used to clean her toenails at night…LOL…
