Is it normal to have lower back pain so bad that it makes me not be able to walk? I'm 7 months pregnant and this has been happening since I became pregnant. My doctor says the pain is normal but I dont think he understands how painful it really is. Sometimes I try to get up and I nearly fall straight down.
Ouch... Its probably just all the extra weight. Baby, fluid... And since its all in one area, not spread out over your body, it will cause back pain. Are you thin? Sometimes, if a woman has been thin her whole life, all the extra baby weight at once is just so painful on the spine because you have never had a lot of weight for your bones to carry.
I don't think anybody on here can really give a good answer to medical questions. I suggest you see a different doctor, or a maternity nurse.
