why does the base of my latop get so hot at times?

I just purchased a new laptop and I noticed that the base of my laptop near the vent gets really hot at times.I was wondering if this was normal.I never had a laptop just desktops

yeah it’s very normal, you need a vent pad or cooler to put your laptop on…avoid putting it on surfaces w/ linen on them, it prevents the laptop’s natural ventelation…

OK. Laptops are not actually designed to sit on your lap. If yoiu use them on your lap they can get very hot - in fact, some models can catch fire and some can burn skin. They need a certain amount of airflow underneath them to properly cool. If yoiu need to use one on your lap, you need to get a special laptop cooling unit that sits between the laptop and your lap. This will help cool the laptop, and protect both you and it from overheating.

its normal is the heat from cpu , a laptop cooler will help , so will keeping laptop well ventalated {including bottom }

its normal. you could probably gt a notebook cooler pad/fan.

yea its normal,when a laptop gets too hot it shuts down automatically

try not to cover the vent so dont have the laptop flat on the floor and this will help..

and ‘hot’ is a abnormal temp for a computer.. I dont surpose you can be more precise…? XXc XX/XXXf
