Why can't I get my math?

How come I still dont understand my math even though I’ve gotten help from my teacher, my mother, my math books, and online videos!??! I just dont get it, nothing clicks, I feel stupid because other people get it. I have no disorder that I know of, I can think in life situations clearly, but, I dont get math! I know I had some trauma when I was little, around the same time I was learning the foundations of mathematics, with my parents divorcing ect ect, but it seems I had trouble with math even in the first few day that I ever started it!! I’m 14 and in 8th grade, and I can do things that even kids who are older then my cant do, but its the simple things that I cant figure out!!! >_<

Math is the only subject where the answer is in front of you before you even start, it is not that difficult once you click, if you are struggling go back to phase 1, it also depends on the type of math you are doing,

Know your basics and timetables well then the rest comes together.

what exactly in math you cant understand? because some concepts are fairly easy but some are really hard. With math, it really helps to practice solving a lot. But it would probably help if you can identify which concepts you cant understand and then maybe we can help.

Take a break from it and stop thinking so hard about it. Yes, it sounds pointless and contrary to what you have done, but in maths, the more you stress about not getting it, the worse you tend to do.

So take a step back and a deep breath and stop trying so hard. Next time you have to do a problem just sit in front of the books, don’t think and write and see what comes up.

I absolutely, totally know where you are coming from. when I was your age, I got lowest in new zealand in maths. (I live in NZ). that was pretty low… lol. you have to just keep trying, trust me.. one day it will all just ‘CLICK’ and you will suddenly be like omfg wtf I get it!

honestly trust me, just keep trying. and if you find someone that can explain it really simple, that worked for me.
