What should I do when I was the purple dye out?

Alright, so I’m supposed to wash my hair with warm water to protect the color right? Well, if I using warm water to wash my hair and then put a bag over it so I can use scaulding water like I usually do, would this be alright? Also, I dont have shampoo for colored hair, will this be a problem?

Answer #1

just use the cold water like the box says and get out of the shower, sheesh you are not makng any sense.lol

Answer #2

That’s what I’m asking. Haha. If I allow my hair to come in contact with cold water and then put a bag over my head and use really hot water, will the hot water strip my hair of it’s color regaurdless of the bag being over it?

Answer #3

I dont think water will strip you hair, and besides you need to wash it sometime if hot water takes your colour out use warm water yes, shampoo wil be a problem shampoo not designed for colour treated hair imediently strips and fades your colour so you need a shampoo thats designed for use on colour treated hair shampoo not for colour treated hair will do more damage than plain water ever could in regards to taking out your colour

Answer #4

I dont think the shampoo is a problem, and are you sure you should use scalding water?, I was under the impression that using cold water helps seal in everything. at least I know thats waht you are suppose to use for conditioner.
