What's your testimony on life?

I’v e overcome impossible odds because there really is no alternative other than death, and that doesn’t sound very interesting.

I was a heroin junkie for almost 15 years, before I started to understand that I was in need of some sort of help. The first two places I went to for treatment was Christian communities. And to be honest, I thought the people there was stupid. (Both the ones working, and the other patients). So I went to a place where I had only myself to rely on, and I couldn’t act as if I could “pray myself out of my problems” anymore.

And that worked for me. I’m using the inner strenght that all people have, but that some people believe to be the power of Christ or whatever.

So I overcame my cravings for heroin, even if it took me almost 5 years of hard work, and I did it without turning to God or any other Pagan substitute for Christianity.

Believe in yourself.
