What job would you recommend?

I have a question. There’s this lady. She’s already in her late thirties and hasn’t worked in forever because she quit her job when her kids were born. But now they’re older and she wants a way to make some money instead of doing nothing at home. Is there anything that she can do that

  • she can work from home, with flexible times as she sends her kids lunch on schooldays
  • she can get leave easily, as most office jobs only give 14 or so days or leave each year, but her family enjoys vacationing a lot

The only thing she has come up with so far is translation for TV shows, as we’re in Japan and most people who translate for subtitles on TV shows don’t do it right, and she has a pretty strong command of Japanese. Anyone have any other ideas?

Answer #1

Subsistute Teacher Open a Daycare from her home Work at a nursing home - they are usually pretty flexable

Answer #2

She can probably teach pre-school, and still have time to send lunch to her kids.
