he had a survay taken of England called the Dooms Day Book Then he gave pices of propity to his followe3rs. one example the mill at Maple Durm on the Thimbs River is still in the family he gave it to. There were still pockits of resistance he had to put down. He had to deal with invading Dames, Remember one of the reason that Horold lost at Hastings was becuse he had to do a forced march to get there becuse he was fighting Dames who also invaded. William moveed the capital from Winser to London and built the tower of London. He had to interduce the Normand laws into England. Some of this shows up in IvenHoe and Robbin Hood.
