What can I do about cramps I take vicodin and it doesnt work?

I have the worst cramps ever and I already take vicodin and it doesn’t even take the edge off what else can I take? None of the over the counter medication works I have tried it all and vicodin used to work but it no longer works I really need help on this I do go to the doctor this month and I am going to ask I am 33 I have had them all my life but I am tired of having cramps and I want to get rid of them any suggestions?

Red Raspberry Leaf Tea has been shown to help ease the cramping. It is sold in the medicine isle. It is medicinal tea but tastes good.

Alternatively you can get prescrbied birth control as they help tone down the cramping as well. But me not being a huge fan of medication I’d recommened the Tea.

A lot of women suffer through severe cramps without the use of drugs like vicodin.

There are other methods - hot baths or water bottles, yoga, some foods are known to help…etc…

We’re all tired of it, but we deal with it - you’re going to have to learn to deal with it too.

You want ibuprofen lysine, which absorbs faster and is in medicine such as feminax. This may not work on its own, it does not for me some months, but it may help you just a little an should make the cramps tolerable if you use other methods too. Try heat packs/ patches. You can get ones designed for menstrual cramps, and then basically stick in the front of your underwear and heat the area, thus easing cramping.

I was given some medicine by the GP for mine, but although it reuced cramps, it also made your period longer, so I stopped taking it. I know that there are proper prescription remedies out there though, so definitely go to your doctor as planned.
