What are birthmarks?

I know what they are, but what do they mean??

Ummm, they don’t mean anything. They’re just distinguishable traits that you’re born with. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a black dot. I know a kid who’s birth mark is a particularly hairy thigh. And we’re talking about a totally hairless baby here.
