How often is a regular basis for washing hair? I've heard from once a day, to once every two weeks!!! Eww!! I couldn't wait that long to wash my hair!!! but serisously, how long is it, cause now I'm confused.
people dont c why they have cry hair! you CANT use boiling hot water, you HAVE to be hareful when drying your hair with a towel too because if you rubb it it will break your protective layer on the outside of your hair and with a diagram, it looks scarry!! just blot it and DONT ring it. you could start with your hand at the top and move it down your hair squeezing the water out...:) lol
2: when people say they wash it once a week, they dont mean they have a shower once a week. They mean they only apply shampoo once a week:) You have to see it this way; its like saying that you should wash your jaket every day and your bra every day! the people who say they HAVE to wash it every day bc they say they have "oily skin",they are no different that you. here is how it works: your hair is ment to be coated with oils to *protect it from the cold and so when you wash it every day your body thinks your gonna wash it the next day so it produces oils. you just have to giv it time:)

Unless your hair is supremely oily, washing hair every day is not only unnecessary, it can be damaging. Taking every other day off from shampoo - or even 2 or more days off if your hair is dry or damaged - gives your hair a break from the detergents and the inevitable roughness that comes with shampooing, both of which can rough up hair's protective cuticle layer. A day away from shampoo also allows sebum - hair's natural conditioner - to get a foothold in individual strands.

I wash my hair every day. It really depends on what type of hair and skin you have on how long you should go without washing it. It also depends if you dye your hair and what color dye you have in it.
I have oily skin and hair and I HAVE to wash it daily. My mom can go 3 days and you can't even tell because she doesn't have oily skin or hair.
Also, certain hair dyes (red, pink, extreme colors) fade really fast if you wash your hair too often.
It's good to take a shower every day, but only wash your hair every other day. Your hair produces oil that is good for it, and helps it keep healthy and grow. I would wash my hair every other day, but condition it every day because it gives your hair vitamins that it needs.
It depends on your hair. I wash mine every other day because if I wait longer my hair gets oily and if I do it every day, it gets too dry. I'm sure everybody is different because everyone has different hair types.
I have a shower everyday but only wash my hair properly every 2 days because it would change the colour of my hair (like it did last time!) eventhough I have barely any hair as it is.
Everyone should shampoo their hair every other day, and use conditioner daily.
It doesn't matter who you are, anything more or less damages your hair.
Well I wash mine everyother day because if I dont my hair gets real oily when I wash everyday it gets a bit dry
