Twillight - what book edward leaves bella and why?

Edward leaves Bella in New Moon Bella gets a papercut and Jasper attacks her because of the exposed blood. After, Edward feels he’s risking her life by staying with her so leaves with his family to protect her.

Edward leaves Bella in New Moon because he throws her a birthday party and she gets a paper cut opening one of her presents, and Edward’s brother Jasper tries to attack her. So Edward leaves thinking that Bella would be safer and better off if he wasn’t in her life anymore.

edward leaves bella in eclipse, I believe. he does come back though. I dont know why he leaves though. sorry.

the 2nd book new moon cause jasper trys to kill bella at her 18th bday party cause she gets a paper cut opening edwards and alices preasent to her. he thinks he is making her life bad so he thinks it would do bella a lot of good to leave her.

really? I thot he left because he thot she was dead when she was having the baby!

so, he went to that person so it could kill him!
