and keep my toes pointed.
The main thing is to just keep working at them. I know mine where not great when I first started cheering, but after hard work and time I had one of the best toe touches on my team. Stretching definitely helps a lot and do other types of jumps like a straight jump or a tuck jump to help work on the height some. The higher you can get with either of those the easier it will be to jump higher for a toe touch. The more you practice pointing your toes when does stretches the more it will become ingrained in your mind to point during the jump. I hope this information is able to help.
What really helped me was sitting in a straddle stretch. If you work up the flexibility your legs will stay straighter making it look more impressive no matter how high. And its practice for flexing your toes. Now to get the higher, you're going to have to practice jumping. Try to focus on your leg muscles for awhile. Presses can do wonders for that.
Ummm, I'm not really familiar with this subject but it would help if you became really flexible...
