I find myself lost in myself, I love my wife and my kids, but I just want to go to heaven. woundn't it be nice to wake up in heaven? to know that there is no more hate and sickness in your heart.?
There is such a thing as a spirit of suicide.
Do you have a fellowship that you belong to?
It is very helpful, to be around other Christians, and to ask for and receive their prayers.
You say you need to make some changes, ... that is good, since you realize it, now, you just need to do it.
The bible says that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Reading the bible, meditating on what you have read, prayer and asking for prayer , being in fellowship with other believers, are all things that will make you stronger in spirit.
God has much for you to do on this earth, if you will seek him, he will lead you thru this valley that you are in, and into good things that he has in store for you.
Fasting is designed to break down strongholds.
The bible says that we war not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of the air, wickedness in high places,
That is our mind, and what comes into it, the prince of darkness is always walking to and fro on this earth, seeking whom he may devour.
It will do you no good to try to leave without fulfilling your responsibilites to your mate , and your children, your loved ones, the ones whom God has for you to witness to, etc. etc.
My dad took that route when I was 10... and believe me, it is not fair to the children or your spouse, or anyone else around you. There are many more people who care about you than you realize. And anyone of them will be willing to help you.
Seek out others who will love and pray for you, so that you can become strong in spirit, so that you can be an overcomer, like Jesus desires of you. And that you can be the father that your children need and want and deserve, and a loving mate to your wife.
You have much work to do, on self... and you are never alone, God is right there with you, he will help you. I find if I take one step he will take two.
Father God, I thank you for the faith that this man has, however, he needs to feed his faith, and starve his doubts, as he attempts to grow spiritually.
Lead him to the right group of people who can and will hold him accountable, and will challange him to be all he can be in you. Forgive him for thinking about the easy way out, when you have so much planned for him. Encourage him, and deliver him from this unholy desire. Free him, in Jesus name. Amen.

I love my family with all and every thing I am. my soul is saved washed in the blood of jesus. I know if you kill your self, you burn. I wouldn't kill myself. it not in my heart to leave my kids with out a dad. I didn't have much of a dad. I know what that is like. they are not all my blood but they are all my heart. I know that I have to make changes in my life to make the life my family wants come. I am sorry to sound like I did. I just needed to ask someone that its been on my mind for so long. thank you for your answer. may you have a long and peaceful life.
jeez dont go killing yourself!!! think about what that would do to your family, your wife, and your kids!!! did you know that committing suicide in the Lord's eyes is a MURDER, just as it would be if you killed someone else. you would be killing something God created, and he would be pretty pissed off. it says in the bible that if you do that you go to hell. so unless you want to wake up in HELL!!! you shouldnt do that!! dont believe me?? ask your pastor!!

JUST TRY to think about this;
What if when you die...NOTHING HAPPENS!!! Oh man hard concept to grasp there.
You should start enjoying the time you actually have right NOW instead of focusing on the what-if's later.
And what about in the hearts of your loved ones after you have so selfishly decided that you want something better?
Life is what you make it...if you aren't happy, make changes - death is not retractable.
There is no heaven and no god. If you 'give yourself before your time', you will simply start rotting that much sooner.
