Weird is such a weird word. It means something different to everyone. Some people are generally old souls. They just mature a little before their age. They're into quieter pursuits and what not. Here's the thing. If you are fine with it. And if it is not interfering with your life in any way. Then it may not be the norm, but there's nothing wrong with it. My general concerns with anything are, is it dangerous, is it distressing and is it interfering with your life. If not, dont worry about it.
No, it's not weird, that's how you are and it might be weird to someone else because they don't seem to understand but that's how you are.
Some people like to be alone, nothing wrong with that, I personally like to be left alone and I honestly don't have any friends at all in my school but I'm still me, perfectly normal and healthy!
Oh and one last thing, don't let opinions get to you, in the end, they're just symbols stringed with a man made meaning :)
The real question, is do you think it is weird and are you comfortable or uncomfortable with this? BTW are you an only child?
