Syllabus Error

I read recently about pupils who were taught the wrong books for an A level English exam. Something similar happened to me many years ago. I have several questions about this and would appreciate feedback.

  1. How often does this happen?
  2. What should, or does, happen to the teacher in these instances?
  3. What should, or does, the school do about it? 4, What should, or does, the exam board do about it?
Answer #1
  1. its unsure how often this could happen.
  2. the teacher will probably be brought to a hearing of the school board of trustees and will be judged from there.
  3. the school will probably do nothing about it because the tests are nation wide and cannot be stopped
  4. again the above reason.
