Is too much sugar and carbs really bad for you or is it the fat and saturated fat that gets you?

They r BOTH bad! If u have 2 much carbs and sugar u may get diabetes! And if u have all that nasty fatty stuff ur gonna have heart probs! Don’t eat 2 much of either. :D

Both. Hydrocarbons (sugar and amylum) contain energy/nutrition, fats contain energy/nutrition.

Your body is a chemistry machine that will transform any of these into the other. Your muscles and your brain needs the sugar-like nutrition fragments dissolved in your blood. That’s why hydrocarbons are easier/ faster to digest for your system. You take a bite of pure grape sugar, you get an energy flash. It goes in your blood fast, directly to the muscles and the brain. Fat things are slow to digest and will keep you fed longer.

But if you eat only sugars, your body can transform them into fats and if you eat only fats, your body will transform them into sugars.

You only have to regulate the amount. If your body gets too much nutrition - of any sort - then it will store the stuff. It will build a larder and put in everything that is not needed right now. Supplies for the bad times to come. And that will be in the shape of an ugly cushion on your hip and your belly. :-(

Get a balanced diet where you get enough but not too much of both, fats and sugars. And make sure you get vitamins, fibers, proteins and everything else, too. In healthy amounts.

Ha ha true! But 111 is kinda old. 79 is great! I was just kidding. But the answer to this question is kind of obvious. Too much of anything is bad that is why we say “too much”

Too much of anything is bad, but you must remember carbs are our main source of energy, you also need glucose for a healthy bloodsugar but too much will make you sick. And some fats are good, some are bad, you need to make sure you eat LDL fats like fish more often, and HDL fats less often. No salad diet will work for you, just eat a well balanced diet with exercise and you will see results! (eating less than you need slows your metabolism, especially if you don’t eat breakfast)

yea too much of anything can be a bad thing, i would suggest eating both in moderation and not a significant amount.
