Just curious.
Well I don't think you should use either if you can get away with it. Drinking alcohol every day and relying on it is the fast tract to alcoholism. But also sleeping pills after you start taking them make it so you cant sleep unless you have one. If I were you I would try some more natural approaches, if you can't quiet your mind, try taking a relaxing bath or listening to some music to drowned out your own thoughts. If physically your not tired then try to get more physical activity during the day or force yourself to wake up earlier in the morning. Also, eating sugary foods or drinking caffeine in the evening (after supper) will also keep you up.
alcohol as it prevents you from properly sleeping as it disturbs your stages of sleep. Mild sleeping pills aren't that bad for sleeping, it's the heavy stuff that you should be avoiding. And sleeping pills should be used often.
Actual sleeping pills. That may be bias seeing as how I wont ever take pain reliever for a headache. Alcohol or marijuana should do it.
I drink a beer or two and eat a melatonin (all natural) and I'm good. Sleeping pills are worse
Sleeping pils.
