Why am I so scared, quiet, still, and shy at school?

Answer #1

Afraid of being rejected or made fun of maybe? Ask yourself.

Answer #2

You will break out of your shell eventually, it takes time, and we have to all go on our own pace. My little cousin wouldn’t say boo for so long and was painfully shy, but now she is 16 and gets up before church and now does these readings before the whole congregation without batting an eye. It helped I guess she had an older cousin like me who forever pushed her along :D.

Answer #3

just go around and act like an actor and be outgoing. see how it works

Answer #4

it could have to do with there being so many people at school. You just need to take things one step at a time and try to break free bit by bit.

Answer #5

Eh I’m the same way!!! Lol I honestly have a hard time opening up and being myself around people, well in school. So I basically have the same friends since 5th grade. I make a couple new ones every year besides that I’m shy. I say maybe you just can’t be yourself? Maybe scared of what people think about you? Or scared to be judged? Or have a hard time trusting people? It’s fine to be shy just except you for how you are. And if your sad about it, try to talk to people maybe say hi. Then later on lead to asking them how there weekend was.

Answer #6

probably because you’re not comfortable with the school. It takes time to get adjusted to your surrounding s trust me. But eventually you’ll start to ease out of your shell and become comfortable. Just take things slow! Don’t rush to stand out.. :)
